Level 3 Ski Instructor Program
Overview:
Our level 3 program consists of 25 days on snow training spread out through the winter. These days will be split to cover technical skiing, teaching and mountain safety, the 3 most important modules within the level 3 certification.

Level 3 curriculum
1. Technical skiing

Focus of on-piste training in performance short and long turns.

Development of bumps and variable terrain.

Skill development from snowplough turns through to advanced parallel turns.
3. Mountain saftey

Introduction to mountain safety aspects, incl beacon, shovel and probe work.

Introduction to understanding the avalanche bulletin.

Introduction to ski touring including equipment.
2. Teaching

Focused sessions on high level teaching and in depth understanding

Focus on teaching to the whole group.

Focused peer teaching and progression.
4. Movement anylysis/Biomechanics

Off snow sessions to develop skier analysis skills.
